Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 2025
PhysiqueFormulas is committed to an inclusive, usable experience for all visitors. Accessibility is part of our design and development workflow. Our goal is to make training and nutrition tools understandable and effective for everyone — regardless of device, context, or ability.
Conformance Target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines are based on four principles that content should be Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust. We continuously refine our pages to better align with these standards.
Summary
Our templates use semantic HTML, descriptive landmarks, accessible form labels, appropriate color contrast, keyboard focus management, and responsive layouts. Interactive widgets avoid motion/animation dependencies, and essential information is not conveyed by color alone.
What We Do in Practice
- Semantic structure: Headings follow a logical order; lists and tables use proper elements.
- Forms: Each input is associated with a label; errors are described in plain language.
- Media & images: Informative graphics include alt text; decorative images are appropriately hidden.
- Keyboard support: Navigation, menus, and calculators are usable without a mouse.
- Color & contrast: We target AA contrast ratios for text and interactive elements.
- Responsive design: Layouts adapt to small screens and larger displays.
- Performance: Lightweight pages to reduce cognitive and technical load.
Testing & Review Process
Accessibility is reviewed with a combination of automated and manual checks. Our routine includes:
- Keyboard-only workflows for navigation and calculator usage.
- Heading outline and landmark inspection.
- Color contrast auditing and focus visibility checks.
- Screen reader spot checks for core pages and calculators.
- Periodic template updates to propagate fixes consistently.
Compatibility Notes
PhysiqueFormulas supports current versions of major browsers and mobile operating systems. While we aim for broad compatibility, legacy browsers or non-standard extensions may affect behavior. We do not rely on audio, video, or time-based media for critical instructions.
Known Limitations (Tracked)
- Third-party scripts (e.g., translation, ads) may inject markup we do not control. We sandbox layout and monitor for regressions.
- Some calculator result tables may require horizontal scrolling on very small screens; we preserve table semantics for assistive tech.
- Auto-inserted ad iframes may not fully expose semantics in all screen readers; core content remains accessible without ads.
Third-Party Content & Services
Certain features depend on third parties (e.g., Google Translate, analytics, ad networks). While we select widely adopted services, we cannot guarantee full accessibility of external widgets. We design our core experience so that essential tasks remain usable if these services are blocked or unavailable.
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We regularly update content, refactor templates, and refine patterns to reduce friction. Our goal is to make each release more inclusive than the last while keeping the interface simple and fast.
Feedback
We value accessibility feedback and treat it as an opportunity to improve. If you encounter a barrier, you’re welcome to revisit this page for updates as we continue to enhance support for diverse needs. We do not publish contact channels on-site; however, we actively audit and iterate based on common issues and best-practice changes.
